How to Join FIRST

1. Go to firstinspires.org

2. If you don’t have an account, click the “REGISTER” button at the top right corner

3. Put your info in and then click “register”

4. There, you’ve gotten an account!

5. After you have registered, click the programs bar

• If you have a PreK-1st grade kid, click the First Lego League (FLL) tab but you will sign up as First Lego League Discover

• If you have a 2nd-3rd grade kid, click the First Lego League (FLL) tab but you will sign up as First Lego League Explorer

• If you have a 4th-8th grade kid, click the First Lego League (FLL) tab but you will sign up in First Lego League Challenge

Note: If you are in 4th grade you can stay in explorer but we prefer to move onto the challenge. If you are in 7th grade, you can stay in FLL until 8th but you could also go to the First Tech Competition.

• If you have a 7th-12th grade kid you will go to the First Tech Competition tab.

• If you are in 9th grade you can continue FTC but you can also advance to the First Robotics Competition. In that case, go to the First Robotics Competition tab.

6. Once you have chosen your program, hover over your program and click the “Cost and Registration” tab

7. Click the “Youth Team Member Registration” tab on the left 

8. Then, click “Complete Registartion Now” bar

9. Then register for your child

There! You have registered for FIRST! Congratulations! Time to start a fun and adventurous journey. Try to find nearby teams and join them. You can also create one on the “Start a team” tab.
